Vanessa Dillof
Vanessa is a strategic partner to organizations seeking consumer research, innovation, and/or design thinking support. She founded Outsight to do more of what she loves: getting more companies outside and exposed to people and culture.
Prior to Outsight, Vanessa spent her entire career representing the consumer voice within large organizations. She spent 16 of her 18 years in the business on the client side, working directly within strategy and innovation centers inside Fortune 500 organizations, and alongside product planners, designers, merchandisers, marketers, and senior leadership. Vanessa has held research leadership positions at Time Inc. (Sports Illustrated), Sony, Samsung, and VF Corporation (The North Face, Smartwool, Icebreaker and Jansport). She is also a trained design thinking executive coach for Stanford University.
Vanessa spends almost every weekend outside, hitting the trails either by mountain bike, on foot, or on skis. She got engaged in a kayak off the islands of Vancouver and got married in Yosemite Valley.
